Cercle Brugge has recently appointed Haris Apostolidis as the new Head of Physical Performance. The 34-year-old Greek has an impressive background in sports science and has gained experience at various clubs, including Iraklis and Aris FC. Apostolidis started his career as a youth coach, but quickly shifted his focus to physical training. He obtained his UEFA B diploma and successfully worked at Aris FC, helping the team reach the group stage of the Europa League. In January 2021, he came into contact with Cercle Brugge, starting with the reserve team and later moving to the first team. After a restructuring of the technical organization at Cercle Brugge, Apostolidis sought new opportunities and found one at Sporting Lokeren. He feels well settled in Belgium and is excited to contribute to Lokeren's ambitions. Apostolidis is determined to optimize player performance and prevent injuries, which is crucial for the team's success. He looks forward to working with coach Stijn Vreven and getting to know the player group better.
